2020 Abbreviated Spring Season

The Andover Little League Board is pleased to announce that an abbreviated "Andover Little League 2020 Season" will start on approximately July 1, 2020, in accordance with the Commonwealth of Massachusett's and the Town of Andover's guidelines for Youth Sports.

Additionally, the Board has agreed to the following regarding the Andover Little League 2020 Season:

1. For everyone previously registered for the Spring 2020 season, that Spring Registration will be CANCELLED. Refund checks will be processed and mailed next week.

2. For anyone interested in playing ball in the abbreviated 2020 Season of our traditional spring season, you will need to complete a new registration at www.andoverlittleleague.com, by June 15, 2020. The fees for the shortened season will be at a pro-rated discount.

INFORMATION ON THE REVISED SEASON
The Andover Little League 2020 Season will offer an abbreviated version of our traditional spring season. Consistent with the spring seasons, the Andover Little League 2020 Season will be played at the A, AA, AAA, and Majors levels, and will be comprised of "in-town" games. This season will run for approximately five weeks and in general games will be played Monday through Thursday.

Registration fees for each division level for the Andover Little League 2020 Season are:
Majors $133
AAA $133
AA $105
A $92

The Board wants ALL kids to play this summer - if you have a hardship and are unable to pay - we offer a scholarship. Scholarship requests will be held in confidence. If this situation applies to you, please email [email protected].

Please understand the refund check and re-registration are two separate transactions. If you plan on playing the abbreviated Andover Little League 2020 Season, you must register through our registration system, which is OPEN NOW.

With the season fast approaching, please register as soon as possible and no later than Monday June 15 as Commissioners at each level will be putting together teams over the next couple of weeks. With respect to the Majors teams that were previously assigned for the spring - please note to the extent possible - great efforts will be made to keep those teams together.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY INFORMATION
The Board is creating safety procedures for our players, parents, coaches, and spectators. We will follow the Governor's guidelines and update you on these procedures prior to the season start.

OTHER SUMMER BASEBALL PROGRAMS
Please also keep your eyes out for future updates including registration information for other Andover Little League summer baseball programs and the Big Diamond program (whose programs include games with other towns).

We understand that the last three months have been challenging; but be assured that the Andover Little League Board is working hard to bring baseball back to our community. Thank you again for your continued patience and let's "play ball!"
