Notice To All Little League Volunteers

Our leagues are only as good as our volunteers. If you have baseball experience, and enjoy teaching and coaching, please consider applying for a manager position or coach position when you register your child.

In an effort to recognize the importance of our Managers and Coaches, Andover Little League will provide access to coaching clinics, what has developed into a terrific set of coaching resources on the Little League website, our own materials, and anything else that you need to succeed. If you have any questions, please contact the appropriate league VP that you would like to manage/coach in (see Board/Management page). We deeply appreciate your considering this critical role.

As required by Little League, Inc., the Andover Little League does sexual offender background checks on all volunteers, including board members, managers, coaches, umpires, administrative volunteers, and anyone who even helps out in an informal manner. Therefore, if you even think you might be interested in volunteering in any capacity whatsoever, please take a few minutes to complete the Little League Vonuteer Application and CORI forms. All Managers are required to fill out both forms below every year.

1. Little League Volunteer Application: Please complete the entire form except the box that states Local League Use Only. Please note that it is mandatory that your Social Security number is required and that a copy of your drivers license accompanies the Little League Volunteer Form.


2. Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) Acknowledgement Form: Form used to request Massachusetts criminal offender record information. All Andover Little League Volunteers are required to fill out this form. Please enter "Andover Little League" as the organization on page 1 and complete the information on page 2. Print the form, sign and date the bottom of page 1. Return the form along with a legible copy of a valid photo ID to the Safety Director, c/o Andover Little League. Forms can be scanned and emailed directly to Rick Santagati. You can also mail them to Andover Little League, PO Box 338, Andover, MA, 01810 with a note to forward them to our Safety Director. Please be sure to include a reply email with all correspondence.
